GENERAL PROJECT

Belford Street, Peterlee

At Northumbrian Water looking after the environment and reducing the risk of flooding are two of our top priorities. As part of this commitment we want to make you aware of some sewerage network investigations in your area. We intend to carry out a study of the area to identify a potential solution to help protect the environment and ensure that our sewer network continues to serve the community effectively.

Update by Becky Gartland

Hi All, Hope you have had a lovely bank holiday weekend.

We have carried out the following: block paving and kerb reinstatements, we have reinstated the compound in which our welfare was set up and de-mobilised the site by offloading all excess/waste material, off hired all plant/equipment/tools/cabins.

We still need to complete the following:

Reinstate palisade fence in existing yard

Wildflower seeding to the embankment just off Belford Street

Install post & wire fencing site wide

And grass seeding to both sides of Kilburn drive

Work due to start Thursday 5 May 2022.

Any questions please contact me.
