Durham City Sewer Network Improvements

We are planning work to improve the performance of the sewer network in Durham City and improve your environment.

Update by Sarah Jayne Parvin

Afternoon All, we are making great progress along Whinney Hill and the road closure at Illingworth Grove will be going on from the 22nd June for up to 3 weeks as scheduled. In conjunction with the closure 2-way traffic lights will remain on Whinney Hill, whilst we complete this final section of pipe work.

Elsewhere we have permanent resurfacing work along Old Elvet, this will be carried out over a 3-day period starting on Tuesday. As before when we were installing the pipe this will be done under 2-way lights. During this time, some car parking spaces will be unavailable and will be identified with cones blocking them off.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to comment below and one of the project team will contact you alternatively you can contact the MMB team at MMBcustomerserviceteam@mottmac.com

Once again, we would like to thank you for you continued patience and support.

Enjoy your weekend!

Sarah
