Forrest Park

We are investing over £1,000,000 to improve and extend the sewer network in Aycliffe to support Durham County Council’s ongoing Forrest Park development.

Update by Joan Tatters

Good Morning,

Firstly, Paul and I would like to thank the residents of Bickford Terrance for their patience and understanding during our work. We visited some of you last week with a progress report so, for those we didn't get to personally speak to here goes:-

The road closure on Heighington Lane has been in place to safely construct the remainder of the drainage, to say it has been a challenging environment is an understatement! We have been working closely with other service providers to assist in finding any unidentified assets and as a result our drilling sub-contractor has been on site all week  progressing well with more excavations.

We are not letting this cold wet weather dampen our spirits and we are continuing as programmed.

The last of the tree pruning has been carried out on St Andrews Way ahead of the bird nesting season into March which suggests Spring is just around the corner.......yippee,  thanks again for your ongoing patience.
