Horsley Water Treatment Works Upgrade

A £46M project to upgrade Horsley WTW has now reached a key milestone. We have selected our partners, a joint venture partnership with Doosan Enpure and Interserve Construction, to upgrade the treatment works.

Update by Shafqat Akbar

Hello everyone. Our site teams have installed numerous steelwork structures at the Horsley site. I want to share information and photos of some more platforms, structural steelwork and handrailing in this update.

The access stairs and handrailing at the new pumping station is complete.

The platform in the north east quadrant of the site is complete. Our MEICA teams have installed new plant and equipment on the platform. We are testing and commissioning the new equipment.

The new flow meter chamber handrailing and steps are complete. The new process plant, tanks, platform and access stairs are complete. The testing works are progressing well.

The supporting steelwork and reinforced concrete plinths are complete. This steelwork is in the north east quadrant of the site near the existing buildings.
