Kirklevington Sewage Treatment Works

Together with our supply partner, Interserve, we plan to carry out work between 7th January 2019 to 29th March 2019 This essential work is part of an investment programme of over £2 million and will include essential work refurbishing the Sewage Treatment Works at Kirklevington. This will improve the quality of the wastewater treatment. The STW will remain fully operational while we work on the site and there will be no impact on the waste water service we provide to you. Construction traffic will need access to the STW and utilise the highway during this period however access will not be affected and we do not anticipate traffic control We are working closely with our supply partner to make sure any disruption is kept to a minimum. If you are going to be directly affected by our work, our site team will let you know in advance. Typical working hours will be Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 6.00pm. You may see some increase in vehicle movement. Hello everyone

Much of the work on site is now completed. We have been doing more civil work this week laying concrete for paths and making the land ready for reinstatement. Next week will be busy with sub contractors on site testing the wash water and finishing the mechanical and electrical work on the new filter. Our plant equipment left site today and the only other delivery we are expecting is a replacement skip sometime next week. We are still looking at leaving site at the end of this month.
