Our proposed new screens will allow us to remove more solids from the influent. This will reduce maintenance activities and ensure an efficient site that is free of blockages and has significantly reduced wear and tear to the mechanical equipment. Our sewage treatment works aids NWG in improving the quality of rivers and coastal waters for the benefit of people, the environment and wildlife.

Will my water supply be affected? |

Will the work cause disruption? There shall be more vehicles than usual using the access road for our sewage treatment works. All work will take place inside the sewage treatment works. |

Weekly updates by the project team shall be posted on the community portal. |
Will the site be dangerous? |
All work will be carried out within the existing sewage works which is not open to the public. There shall be no danger to the public. |
What will it look like when the works are complete? |
There will be no visible change. |
Will there be dust, vibration and noise? |
We will expect some noise to be generated during the work. We will keep noisy work restricted to the hours of 9am-5pm. |
Will the roads be kept clean during the works? |
There will be no impact on the A694. The access road will be kept clean. |
What happens on bin collection days if the bin wagon can not get to my property? |
The bin wagon will be able to access your property at all times. |
Will I be able to access my drive or directly park outside my property? |
Yes |
