GENERAL PROJECT

Marden Quarry Sewage Pumping Station

Together with our partners Interserve, we plan to carry out work between the 4 January 2021 until the end of June 2021 at Marden Quarry Sewage Pumping Station (SPS) although we will be carrying out enabling works prior to these dates. The project represents a £1.5 million investment which will see an upgrade of the mechanical and electrical equipment within the SPS.

Hello again. We have started working on a new project at the Marden Quarry pumping station.

We have an ambitious programme of works and we have made a good start.

We contacted our neighbours about these works. We will not be affecting access to the popular pedestrian routes at Marden Quarry.

The access road into the Northumbrian Water compound will remain open to the public.

The site teams are continuing with the strip out of redundant apparatus and are installing the new electrical equipment.
