River Gaunless, Bishop Auckland

We are investing up to £9 million to improve Butterknowle, Cockfield and Ramshaw sewage treatment works. Starting in December 2018 and likely to continue to December 2019. These works will improve the quality of the water in the River Gaunless and will not involve any disruption to the wastewater service in the area. Update by Brian Hall

Hi everyone

We have successfully installed the mechanical building and power panel this week at Ramshaw. That’s the last of the big delivery’s for Ramshaw.

At Butterknowle next week we have a similar delivery due. I am confident it will not disrupt things too much however please be careful when driving past on Wednesday.

We are now in the final stages of the civils install at Cockfield. Commissioning is about to start there.

All are doing a great job to ensure we are still on programme.

Enjoy the weekend.

Martin
