Roseberry Crescent, Great Ayton Flood Alleviation

We are working with the community to explore opportunities to reduce the risk of flooding. The proposed works are located along Roseberry Crescent, Roseberry Road, Roseberry Avenue, Wheatlands and Newton Road, Great Ayton and within the site which forms part of the estate of Cleveland Lodge. The proposed works involve the installation of approximately 1300m of surface water and foul water sewer for the purpose of flood alleviation. Proposed works are also to involve the construction of a SuDS basin for surface water attenuation.

Update by Steve Boyd (Project Manager)

Hi everyone

A quick update for you as follows:-

Our new drainage network installation on Roseberry Crescent is going reasonably well, we are currently working up to the junction of Wheatland's

As of Monday 3rd June19 for a period of approx four weeks there shall be no access onto Roseberry Crescent/Wheatlands off the mini roundabout on Newton Road as the road shall be closed whilst we continue on with drainage operations, however during the first week of the closure we will be able to give access to the block of flats out of working hours as per our letter drop.

Unfortunately from week commencing 10th June 19 we will be unable to offer any access for a period of approx 3 weeks, we will endeavor to complete this section of works as soon as possible and will try to minimize any disruption during the course of our works

Thanks very much for your patience as we carry out these essential drainage upgrade works.

Have a good weekend

Steve.
