Roseberry Crescent, Great Ayton Flood Alleviation

We are working with the community to explore opportunities to reduce the risk of flooding. The proposed works are located along Roseberry Crescent, Roseberry Road, Roseberry Avenue, Wheatlands and Newton Road, Great Ayton and within the site which forms part of the estate of Cleveland Lodge. The proposed works involve the installation of approximately 1300m of surface water and foul water sewer for the purpose of flood alleviation. Proposed works are also to involve the construction of a SuDS basin for surface water attenuation.

Update by Christine Taylor

Good evening,

I thought I would provide a quick update.

As you will see we are still working at the bottom of Roseberry Crescent, where it junctions with Newton Road.  Our works at this location should be completed by the end of the week.

Next week, the site team will start to move up both Roseberry Crescent and Wheatlands, using a rolling road closure.  We have contacted customers who will be directly impacted at this time, and will continue to do so as our works progress.

Please follow our diversions as our works progress.

I will be on site later this week if anyone would like to speak to me regarding our works.  You can leave a comment or use the 'contact us' button to arrange an appointment.  Alternatively, contact 03457 171100 and ask to speak to Christine Taylor regarding the work at Great Ayton and I will call you back.

Thank you
