Roseberry Crescent, Great Ayton Flood Alleviation

We are working with the community to explore opportunities to reduce the risk of flooding. The proposed works are located along Roseberry Crescent, Roseberry Road, Roseberry Avenue, Wheatlands and Newton Road, Great Ayton and within the site which forms part of the estate of Cleveland Lodge. The proposed works involve the installation of approximately 1300m of surface water and foul water sewer for the purpose of flood alleviation. Proposed works are also to involve the construction of a SuDS basin for surface water attenuation.

Update by Christine Taylor

Good evening everyone,

Sorry for the late update.  I was on site on Friday when the tarmac was completed, and the team sent me photos to update the portal to keep our customers informed, however I have been away from the  office.

I am sure the residents of Roseberry Crescent /Court, who live off Newton Road are happy to see us move on.  We want to take this opportunity to thank them and everyone else for their patience and understanding whilst we carried out this section of work.  Following this, we now want to thank the residents of both Wheatlands and Roseberry Crescent for their continue understanding as our work progresses north through the estate.

If customers are impacted, we are contacting them directly as our work progresses.

Please feel free to contact me via the portal or phone, using 03457 171100 to discuss the matter further.

Thank you
