Roseberry Crescent, Great Ayton Flood Alleviation

We are working with the community to explore opportunities to reduce the risk of flooding. The proposed works are located along Roseberry Crescent, Roseberry Road, Roseberry Avenue, Wheatlands and Newton Road, Great Ayton and within the site which forms part of the estate of Cleveland Lodge. The proposed works involve the installation of approximately 1300m of surface water and foul water sewer for the purpose of flood alleviation. Proposed works are also to involve the construction of a SuDS basin for surface water attenuation.

I thought it would be beneficial to provide another update. As you will see today we are moving up Wheatlands. We want to thank all residents to date for their patience and understanding as our works continue.

To confirm, we are hoping to complete this section of works within the next 5 weeks. When we are ready to move again, my team or I, will be in contact with residents impacted. In the first instance we would try to speak to residents prior to sending a letter, however I am sure you will understand this will not always be possible.
