Roseberry Crescent, Great Ayton Flood Alleviation

We are working with the community to explore opportunities to reduce the risk of flooding. The proposed works are located along Roseberry Crescent, Roseberry Road, Roseberry Avenue, Wheatlands and Newton Road, Great Ayton and within the site which forms part of the estate of Cleveland Lodge. The proposed works involve the installation of approximately 1300m of surface water and foul water sewer for the purpose of flood alleviation. Proposed works are also to involve the construction of a SuDS basin for surface water attenuation.

Over the last couple of weeks I have been out and spoke to more residents on Wheatlands. Our customers will have noticed we have moved further up, along Wheatlands last Thursday. Once again I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding whilst we carry out our works. You will also notice we currently have our partners Kwikflow on site working alongside our site team carrying out investigations.

We anticipate that we will be working in this section for up to 5 weeks. If anyone would like to discuss this section or the final upcoming section do not hesitate to contact me.
