Update by Gabrielle Ward
Hawthorn Sewer Repair Works
Good Afternoon,
I just wanted to post a quick update regarding our upcoming works in Hawthorn which are due to start the week commencing Monday 28th September for approximatley 10 working days.
You may have noticed that signs are now in place in the area informing road users of the road closure which will be allocated on the road towards Hawthorn Dene Nature Reserve.
The road closure will be in place for upto 10 working days between the hours of 9.30am and 4pm and will be removed on weekends. The road will still be accesible by foot, but please take extra care when walking along this road as the works will be on-going and involves large vehicles and machinery.
This essential work is to repair the sewer network which runs along the road by carrying out trenchless technology.
If you are passing our team, and would like to ask any questions or just pop and say hello, please feel free to do so. We just kindly ask that you keep a safe 2 metre distance.
We are currently following Government guidelines to keep our teams, customers and communites safe during our work.
If you have any questions in the meantime, or would like more information on the work please comment below or click "Contact" at the top of the page.
I will also be posting updates on here throughout the duration of the work.
We would like to thank you for patience and cooperation during this time.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
