Working with our framework partners, Esh-Stantec, Northumbrian water will be carrying out work to replace a failing pumping main from Sharpness Point Pumping Station to Percy Park, Tynemouth.

The site team remain on schedule and the rising main has been installed from the junction of Sea Banks to the zebra crossing.
By the end of this week the site team should be at the roundabout and the one way system removed the following week. We will keep you updated early next week.
