Planned Work

We are investing almost £1 million to improve the performance of our wastewater treatment works in Stokesley.

We plan to begin this scheme in March 2022 and expect it will take up to 3 months to complete. This scheme will help to improve the water quality of the River Leven. Our partner, Esh-Stantec, will be carrying out this work on our behalf. Plans for the works and regular updates once the works commence will be available on this community portal.

The construction works will be within the existing site boundaries, which are securely fenced off and our working hours are between 7.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Construction traffic will need to access to the works from the A172, and as a result, there will be a slightly higher volume of site traffic when vehicles transport materials to and from the site.
