GENERAL PROJECT

Sunderland Bridge STW Transfer Works

We are investing £2.5 million to ensure the sewer network continues to serve the community effectively in the future; reducing the risk of flooding and pollution in the Sunderland Bridge and Croxdale area. Our partners, ESH Stantec will be undertaking the work on our behalf beginning on 27 September 2021 and will last until 26 April 2022.

Update by Becky Gartland

Good afternoon all,

I just wanted to make you all aware of a section of work taking place that will start from Wednesday 27 October 2021.

From tomorrow you will see our site team setting up some heras fencing in the grassed area between the allotments and properties on Woodview. This section of work is expected to take up to 3 weeks to complete. Access to the allotments and properties will be maintained at all times.

I have also attached a plan so that you are able to see the location of where we will be working.

If you have any queries or concerns regarding these works, please comment on this post and we will get back to you.

Thank you

Becky
