GENERAL PROJECT

Swainby Sewage Treatment Works

Together with our supply partner, Interserve, we plan to carry out work between 26th January 2018 to 2nd March 2018. This essential work is part of an investment programme of over £2 million and will include repair work to the Sewage Treatment Works at Swainby. We are working closely with our supply partner to make sure any disruption is kept to a minimum. If you are going to be directly affected by our work, our site team will let you know in advance. Typical working hours will be Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 6.00pm. During this work, our vehicles will need access to the sewer pumping station which is located at Swainby Ellers near Goldgate Lane. You may see some increase in vehicle movement. We'd really like to hear from you if you have any queries so please get in touch using the 'Contact us' button at the top of the page or leave a comment below. Ben Gilbert NWL Project Manager

Update by Brian Hall

Good morning everyone

I hope you all had a good weekend, the snow was coming down thick and fast when I left site on Friday afternoon. You may have noticed we had a road sweeper on the lane on Friday morning. This is a very muddy time of year and the sweeper took a substantial amount of mud off the road surface, hopefully it should have improved conditions. We have completed the main body of the work on site so there wont be too many large vehicles now, only cars and light vans for out staff. Again any questions or issues please feel free to contact me.

Brian
