Project updates

Update by Sarah Jayne Parvin

Afternoon All, I have been told that the bins have been missed down the back road towards our site cabins (The Grove 10-18). I have contacted the council to make them aware and advised that there was no reason they wouldn’t be able to gain access. Unfortunately, this can take up to 3 working days for them to revisit.

I’m sure you will appreciate our guys are trying to prevent bins from being missed, I hear Steve the site manager did a cracking job this morning dragging the bins down the road we were blocking access.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and as ever Steve will pop a bag of rubbish in the skip if your bin gets too full.

Enjoy your weekend, the weather is going to continue to be fantastic. And for all you footy supporters.......

Come on England!!!

Good morning all, i understand a number of households bins haven't been emptied on Friday by the council. I have contacted Durham County Council and advised them they have been missed. They have logged this and advised usually if they are unable to gain access to a road they will try again in the coming days (possibly tomorrow or Wednesday). I asked that if its a case in the future, as we will be in The Grove the next four weeks, for them to flag this to someone on site and we will be more than happy to assist and pull the bins to where they can get access. I understand Steve has also kindly offered to put rubbish into the skip, so in the meantime if you have a bag of rubbish that wont fit into your bin, ask and they will pop it into the skip for you!

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Good morning All, I have had a couple of visits around The Grove now and have managed to speak with a number of residents. This has been  invaluable to MMB, we have listened to a few concerns and due to these concerns, we have altered our plan for the site compound. We have done this as our original site compound location would have affected car parking facilities for a number of households. As mentioned in our letter, we will be coming Monday 4th June to prepare the site and start works, our site cabins will be arriving a day or two late as we need to prepare the new site cabin location.

As always if you have any concerns you wish to discuss please don't hesitate to use the comment function on here or alternatively, email us on MMBcustomerserviceteam@mottmac.com

We would also like to thank you during this time for your patience and understanding.
