The Stanners Warkworth

Northumbrian Water is looking to investing £700,000 to improve the resilience and enhance the performance of the sewer network in Warkworth Village Northumberland.

Update by Joan Tatters

Good Afternoon Warkworth

What's going on with this weather, when Sarah and I visited last week we were in shirt sleeves, Wayne showed us round and it was brillant sunshine!!!

Anyway, an update for you....

The main sewer has been successfully diverted into the manhole on Bridge Street which is great progress, we will be working along by the bridge keep for the next few weeks but hopefully will be pulling around the corner out of the public eye. Please be aware the the footpath will remain closed thoughout these works so be a little more aware of the fencing and signs. This crazy weather hasn't helped us during the works however, what I can say the residents and the local businesses have been just fantastic so accommodating we really do appreciate your cooperation.

Don't forget if you want to ask us anything about the project just ask away either via the portal or the site guys, they don't bite.
