Tyneside Water Main Cleaning

Our water mains cleaning programme of works has been ongoing now for five years and to date, we have achieved 221km of cleaning works to our mains. There are a number of pipe sections that we still need to clean, with a total length of 9.0km. We are starting this work in August 2018 and anticipate completion in the Apri 2021.

Good Morning

Just a brief update with regards our works on Great Lime Road Killingworth, yesterday we commenced the installation of the new water main adjacent Miller Close, we will be at ths location for up to 3 weeks, i have attached a couple of pictures of the traffic management with the walkway provided whilst the footway is closed enabling the installation..

As the works proceed i will provide further update.
