Good Afternoon

We have now commenced the works in Whiteley Road Killingworth to connect onto the existing main with the new supply, the main is 2m deep and the road has been built up over numerous years so you will see shoring equipment and a breaker attachment working on the excavator.

We hope to do the connection this thursday lunch time which will allow us to backfill and reinstate the road for the weekend (weather permitting).

I will keep you updated as the work proceeds.

Kind Regards

Good Morning

As you may have noticed we have now started our works on the corner of Whitley Road/ Great Lime Road at the Wheatsheaf Public House in the footway to lay a new length of 32mm diameter water main, this will disconnect the current supply and feed from the nearby 8" main, the excavation works are a little slower than expected due to a high number of fibreoptic and electric cables present in the ground.

The works will run until the end of next week in this area, i will keep you updated as the works proceed.

Kind Regards
