Project updates

Update by Joan Tatters

Good Morning,

I thought I would introduce us "Mott MacDonald Bentley" (MMB), we are the other framework partner currently working with Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) on this project. We are a long standing partner who have worked on many other projects with NWG for many years and we are really excited about this one.  In the coming months you will see our vans, site team and me working in different areas of the region so please feel free to ask us any questions you may have. I will keep you up to date with our locations, duration and the type of work we will be conducting so please watch this space for updates.

Meet The Team

We will have 2 "gangs", one will be working along Great Lime Road and the other will be at various locations.

John Goose         -     MMB Contract Manager who will oversee the entire project from the construction perspective.

Michael Nelson    -    Site Manager, he will be looking after the "various" locations

Kevin McGargle   -    Site Manager, who will be working on Great Lime Road

Joan Tatters         -    Customer Liaison Officer

Have a look at our photos, so you know who we are.

Our first round of work starts next Thursday 1st November at 3 different locations, the first will be at Gateshead High Street where we will be working overnight to minimise any possible disruption and we will be using a new innovative process called "Ice Pigging". We expect to be there from 10pm until 6am for just the one night and we will be pushing ice through the trunk mains. "How Cool".....literally. At Denton Road we will be setting up the site and doing work on and off by that location until approximately January and the third  along Salters Lane by Balliol Business Park until 9th November.

Thank you in advance of the work, I will of course keep you up to speed on the works next week.
