Northumbrian Water are working with communities to proactively manage flood and pollution risk. We are committed to providing a high quality service and have identified an opportunity to improve our sewer network to reduce the risk of pollution events from the rising main which runs in close proximity to the Wapping Burn water course.
Our interactive map below shows where and when we'll be working in the highway and what impact this may have on road users.

Road Closure at the very end of Hunter Road
A road closure is in place at the end of Hunter Road past the entrance to Tonks Ltd. This will remain in place until late December. This Traffic Management will not prevent access of any business premises and has no negative impact on local traffic flows.
Thanks,
Alan
