GENERAL PROJECT

Wellfield Rising Main

Looking after the environment and reducing the risk of pollution are two of our top priorities. As part of this commitment, and to help make Wellfield a great place to live, work and visit, we plan to invest within the sewerage network to upgrade our existing assets.

Update by Sarah Jayne Parvin

Good afternoon all, You will have received a letter in early March to make you aware of our work to replace a section of the existing pumping main that has been bursting due to its age and condition. In preparation for the work starting in June, we will be carrying out some site clearance work.

North of the A181 we will be stripping back the topsoil, as well as some general clearance and tree trimming on the path between the A181 and Wellfield Road

This is expected to start on Wednesday 21st and be complete by the end of the week.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask by adding a comment below, or use the ‘contact us' at the top of the page to email the project team.

Finally, I would like to thank you for your support so far. The team and I are looking forward to working in your community.

Thank you

Sarah
