GENERAL PROJECT

Wellfield Rising Main

Looking after the environment and reducing the risk of pollution are two of our top priorities. As part of this commitment, and to help make Wellfield a great place to live, work and visit, we plan to invest within the sewerage network to upgrade our existing assets.

Update by Sarah Jayne Parvin

Good Afternoon,

You should have received a letter earlier this week informing you that our work is due to start 7th June for up to 4 months.

I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce you to our Mott MacDonald Bentley team.

I am Sarah Parvin, Customer Liaison Officer and I will take care of all customer enquiries during the project. You will notice I will be blogging a lot, so please feel free to comment below.

Jason Bradley is our Contract Manager who will be overseeing the project, and then we have Matthew Carney, our Site Manager who will manage the day to day operations, assisted by James Dowell the Engineer. Jason, Matthew and James have many years of experience in the construction industry, and we all have worked on various projects together with Northumbrian Water.

We are starting on site Monday 7th June, and we will be setting up our site compound on the field located behind Railway Cottages. Can we ask that if you usually park your car in the alley that you find alternative parking during our work as this will be our main access/egress from the compound.

We will provide you with regular updates throughout, if in the meantime, you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Finally, I would like to thank you for your support so far and say the team, and I are looking forward to working in your community.

Thanks
