Good Afternoon,
I would take this opportunity to introduce you to our Mott MacDonald Bentley team. I am Sarah Jayne Vickers, Customer Liaison Officer and I will take care of all our customer queries of concerns during the project. You will notice, I will updating the portal throughout the project so please feel free to contact me by commenting on the post or the "Contact Us" on the top of the page.
Jason Bradley is our Contract Manager who will be overseeing the project, then we have Steve Dovaston our Site Manager supported by Scott Povey the engineer, who will manage the day to day activities.
Our work commenced yesterday on Monday 27th April is is due for completion December 2020, however this could be subject to change. We will continue to monitor and follow UK Government guidance regarding the ongoing situation of Covid-19.
MMB have secured permission to temporarily use the carpark in Rothbury for a site compound, whilst in our use this will be kept secure and not unavailable for public use. We will then move into our compound in the field adj to Whitton bank for the remainder over the coming weeks and will update you closer to the time.
Traffic management of a single lane closure will be put up on Whitton bank this week in preparation for the excavation of the launch/reception pits, where we will start the directional drilling along the bank. The drilling work is scheduled to last for approximately 6 weeks
We will continue to follow UK Government guidance regarding the ongoing situation of Covid-19 and are committed to continue with our site operations whilst safeguarding the wellbeing of our operatives.
