Upgrading the sewage pumping station on the junction of Coneygarth Place, Woodbridge Lane Ashington

Woodbridge SPS introduction

We are carrying out some essential maintenance work at Woodbridge Sewage Pumping Station in Coneygarth Place, Ashington. This work will ensure that it continues to serve the area effectively for future generations.

This work is programmed to be carried out between Monday 6 March 2017 to Friday 4 April 2017 and will be carried out by our supply partner Interserve Construction. The work is part of a £2.2 million investment programme on sewage pumping stations throughout our region.

During this work construction traffic will need access to the treatment works and to our site compound that will be located within the grassed area in Coneygarth Place adjacent to Woodhorn Lane. Traffic management measures will be required for the duration of our works.

Typical working hours will be Monday to Friday between 8 am and 6 pm. Access to residents will be maintained at all times. Any disruption will be kept to a minimum and if you are likely to be directly affected by our work, we will let you know in advance.
