Wooler Water Treatment Works

As part of our ongoing investment programme and to ensure the highest level of customer service, we are constructing a new Water Treatment Works (WTW) at Wooler, Northumberland. The new WTW is located in the town of Wooler, at a site opposite Berwick Road Industrial Estate . The main construction phase commenced in summer 2020 and was substantially completed in autumn 2021. Final commissioning to bring the new WTW into service is currently scheduled to run through until autumn 2022.

Hope you had a great long weekend.

The road signs are now complete including the 30mph one at the north end of the B road and all is back to normal there. Whilst the weather last week wasn't great, Gary's team have cracked on and are still on programme.

Just a gentle reminder the 3 way traffic lights will go on Friday 4th until Monday 7th Sept across the B6525, so please be that little more vigilant. The trial holes shouldn't take much time and those businesses into the Industrial estate please don't worry should you need access over the weekend our guys will be working, so should you need to approach them for assistance please feel free, social distancing of course.
