NIDP FLOODING PROJECT

Corbridge, Riding Mill and Stocksfield

We are currently undertaking a Stage Two Northumbria Integrated Drainage Partnership (NIDP) study in your area.

Update by elaine smith

Hi,

I'm Elaine Smith, NWL project Manager for our Corbridge, Riding Mill and Stocksfield Study. We're working together with the Environment Agency and Northumberland County Council to reduce flood risk in local communities.

As part of our information gathering stage we will have a team of surveyors from Atlantic Geomatics out and about in Stocksfield and Riding Mill starting from Monday 25th November. They will be carrying out manhole surveys and surveying cross sections of the local watercourses so that we can update and improve our hydraulic model of the local area.

I will be out in Riding Mill and Stocksfield on Monday 18th November, hopefully to meet some of the local residents and to let you know more about our study.

If you wish to get in touch directly you can register to comment on this community portal page or contact us by telephone via the NWL Customer Contact Centre on 0345 717 1100
