Update by Becky Gartland
Good morning all,
Hope you all had a lovely weekend despite the wet weather!
Here's a quick update on what the site team were working on across the course of last week:
- Tarmac works have been carried out to install the base and binder courses of the access road. The final layer is still to be completed which is expected to take place next week.
- Work has commenced on the installation of the permanent perimeter fencing around the Pumping Station which will continue across the course of this week.
- Concrete access footpaths have been installed from the new Kiosk to the Valve Chamber and the Pumping Station as well as grouting some of the new spring assisted manhole covers which will be completed this week.
- Further work has been carried out on the ground reprofiling in preparation for topsoiling operations to be carried out over the coming weeks.
- Operations with the Sewerage Treatment Works have been carried out to excavate and pour a new concrete base surrounding the existing manhole in preparation for a Raw Auto Sampling unit to be installed.
I hope you all have a lovely week and if you have any questions relating to our work, please get in touch.
Thanks
Becky
