Sewer Rehabilitation - Flooding

Northumbrian Water are working with our framework partners, Mott-MacDonald Bentley and Esh-Stantec, to deliver the programme of works to prevent flooding on the sewerage network.

Newby, Middlesbrough

Hello,

This update is a thank you to the residents and parish council of Newby Village for their patience and cooperation during our essential maintenance work to the sewerage network, which took place on the village green in January. We are pleased to inform you that the reinstatement work is now complete. However, we plan to return in the upcoming months to carry out maintenance cuts on the grass once it is in condition to do so.

I'm sure most of you will have been and had a seat on the new bench which has been donated by Northumbrian Water and MMB to show our appreciation for your continued understanding and support throughout the duration of our work.  We also donated some flowers which the Parish Council have now planted around the bench.
