WINEP Durham Transfer

As part of an £10 million scheme, Northumbrian Water will be carrying out essential works to improve the performance and flexibility of our wastewater network and wastewater treatment works in the Plawsworth, Pity Me and Brasside areas of County Durham. The scheme will help to improve the water quality of the Blackdene Burn for the benefit of people, the environment and wildlife and ensure that critical wastewater assets continue to serve the community effectively.

Good afternoon everyone!

ESH Stantec need to carry out essential work to the sewerage network, in order to complete the work they will be transporting machinery and materials along Rowan Drive into the Brasside Pumping Station. 

Work will begin Monday 15 July 2024 for 2 weeks, we will keep disruption to a minimum and your refuse collection will not be disrupted.
