WINEP Durham Transfer

As part of an £10 million scheme, Northumbrian Water will be carrying out essential works to improve the performance and flexibility of our wastewater network and wastewater treatment works in the Plawsworth, Pity Me and Brasside areas of County Durham. The scheme will help to improve the water quality of the Blackdene Burn for the benefit of people, the environment and wildlife and ensure that critical wastewater assets continue to serve the community effectively.

Good morning,

Following on from my last update, over the last few weeks the team have continued the installation of pipework to flow meter chamber.

Topsoil and seeding is being carefully monitored and completed within finished working areas.

You may have see the team over the last few weeks working within the woodland area in order to complete the reinstatement.
