Update by Julie Oakley
Good morning Everyone,
Hope you are all looking forward to the Christmas Holidays,
I thought I would provide you with one last update before we start our festive break, we have made good progress on Allendale Treatment works this month even though the weather has been against us,
We have now completed 2 and 3 of the rotating biological contactor (RBC) shells, this is a biological fixed-film treatment process used in the secondary treatment of wastewater following primary treatment, we have also poured the 300mm base and we are now on with the backfilling of both tanks. The Hydrok Screen in now Installed these screens are designed to prevent sewage debris from passing over the weir, retaining it within the treatment works and we are on with building the rotating biological contactor 2 (RBC) Rotor.
I hope we have not caused too much disruptions while the works continue but if you have any issues or concerns please leave a comment below or use the contact details provided and one of the team will be happy to help. If you require any assistance over the Christmas break please use the following contact number 0345 717 1100.
On behalf of the project team, we would like to thank you for your continued patience this year and hope you have a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year!
