Update by Julie Oakley
Good afternoon All,
I would firstly like to wish you all a very Happy New Year and I hope you all had a lovely Christmas,
This is the first update of 2025 for the Allendale treatment works, we have had a slow start to the year due to the weather conditions but we are back on course, we have now installed and backfilled the flowmeters which is a device that measures the flow rate of water into the treatment works along with the actuated valve chambers which is a structure that houses the valves that automatically manage's the water flow. We have also finished the installation of the Rotating biological contactor 1 (RBC1) and the covers, this is used in the process of the wastewater treament. We have made the final connections to the Rotating biological contactor 2 (RBC2) and completed the concrete slab cast which will support the compressor.
I would like to once again thank you for all your co-operation and continued support, in the meantime if you have any questions or issues please feel free to leave a comment below or use the details provide to contact one of the team and er willbe happy to help.
thanks again
Julie
