GENERAL PROJECT

Cassop Sewage Treatment Works Upgrade

We are investing £700k to improve the performance of our sewage treatment works at Cassop. The work will involve an upgrade of the storm water storage provision. This will aid NWL in improving the quality of rivers and coastal waters for the benefit of people, the environment and wildlife.

Update by Rachel Rutter

Good morning,

The team have recently completed works to the new storm overflow pipe and the final connection into the existing storm overflow chamber has been made and is ready to receive flows once the rest of the works are complete.

This week the crew have commenced works to install the new storm return rising main, with the concrete beening cut along the length of the trench and excavation works ongoing. Next week they will be continuing with this work and start installing the pipework.

Thank you for your time. Have a great weekend!

Please contact us direct if you have any questions at nwl.customer@esh.uk.com.
