Hello again. We have established our compound at Dilstonhaugh and started works at the pumping station. In today's update, I want to share our progress to date.

This is the existing pumping station. We will be carrying out improvement works at this location.

The pedestrian route between the pumping station and the River Tyne will remain open to the public. There is a fence line to prevent our works from spilling over onto the pedestrian route.

Our site teams are working to an agreed programme of works. We have agreed a number of interventions at the existing pumping station with Northumbrian Water.

We have established our compound and storage areas in the location of the redundant skateboard park.

Hello everyone. I want to update you on our new project at Dilstonhaugh, Corbridge. We are carrying out an upgrade and major maintenance of the existing station.

We have set up our new compound on the south side of the River Tyne. Our compound has been set up to manage the Covid-19 risk. We have hand sanitiser stations and capacity to ensure our colleagues can maintain a safe 2m distance.

We have upgraded the access road from the main road to the site. The road will be able to cope with the increase in traffic.

We have started clearing the site in readiness for the works to start.

We have placed "silt buster" netting along the side of the topsoil strip area. This is to prevent silt from running into the adjacent fields, the access road or the footpath.
