Durham City Sewer Network Improvements

We are planning work to improve the performance of the sewer network in Durham City and improve your environment.

Update by Sarah Jayne Vickers

Good afternoon, we would just like to take this time to provide you with a quick update.

We are continuing to make progress in Old Elvet despite finding several uncharted services. The installation of the pipe has progressed up past the entrance to Court Lane and we will continue to progress through the parking bays opposite the Dun Cow.

The Second squad referred to in our last update, have joined our team today and we expect them to start on Wednesday on Whinney Hill just after the Junction with Green Lane installing new drainage with another set of Traffic Management.

We will continue to follow UK Government guidance regarding the emerging situation of Covid-19 and are committed to continue with our site operations whilst safeguarding the wellbeing of our operatives.

I'll continue to update you all on how the works progress but in the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact me on you have any questions or concerns.

The Government guidance can be found following the link below.
