Together with our supply partner, Interserve, we plan to carry out work to the Sewage Treatment Works at Elton from Monday 18 February and Friday 15th November 2019. This work is part of a £2 million project of improvements at various sites throughout our network and we are working closely with Interserve to make sure that any disruption while we work at this particular site is kept to a minimum. If you are going to be directly affected by our work, our site team will let you know in advance. Typical working hours will be Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 6.00pm. During this work, our vehicles will need access to the sewer pumping station which is located in the field south of Darlington Road. You may see some increase in vehicular movement.
