Elton Sewage Treatment Works repair

Together with our supply partner, Interserve, we plan to carry out work to the Sewage Treatment Works at Elton from Monday 18 February and Friday 15th November 2019. This work is part of a £2 million project of improvements at various sites throughout our network and we are working closely with Interserve to make sure that any disruption while we work at this particular site is kept to a minimum. If you are going to be directly affected by our work, our site team will let you know in advance. Typical working hours will be Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 6.00pm. During this work, our vehicles will need access to the sewer pumping station which is located in the field south of Darlington Road. You may see some increase in vehicular movement. Update by Brian Hall

Hello Folks

Just to let you all know we will be back on site from Monday 2nd September 2019 for around 6 weeks. We will be removing the temporary tank and installing a new tank in its place. So we will have a bit of civil work to do then mechanical and electrical work. There should not be any disruption, we will have one big delivery at some stage to swap the tanks and apart from that just a couple of light vehicles and van deliveries. I will update with some photos when we are back on site.

Brian
