GENERAL PROJECT

Eppleby Sewage Treatment Works Upgrade

We are investing £2.5 million to improve the performance of our sewage treatment works at Eppleby. The work will involve an upgrade of the inlet system, process units and flow monitoring. This will aid NWL in improving the quality of rivers and coastal waters for the benefit of people, the environment and wildlife.

Update by Brian Ford

Hi it's Brian Ford the Project Manager for the Project from NWL.  Since the customer event held in the Village Hall there have been a couple of issues which have led to our contractors Mott McDonald Bentley (MMB) starting on site slightly later than anticipated - this should not lead to a delay in our delivery programme.

You may have noticed that they have commenced works on the site on Monday of this week and are currently carrying out works on the access road and a number of surveys within the treatment works.  They will then move onto setting up our site compound adjacent to the treatment works whilst carrying out design and procurement of items in the background.

Keep checking back here for updates or even better follow the project to recieve updates.
