Eppleby Sewage Treatment Works

Together with our supply partner, Interserve, we plan to carry out work between Monday 13th November 2017 and Friday 31st November 2017. This essential work is part of an investment programme of over £2 million and will include repair work to the Sewage Treatment Works at Eppleby. We are working closely with our supply partner to make sure any disruption is kept to a minimum. If you are going to be directly affected by our work, our site team will let you know in advance. Typical working hours will be Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 6.00pm. During this work, our vehicles will need access to the sewer pumping station which is located down the track near the allotments past the village green. You may see some increase in vehicle movement. We'd really like to hear from you if you have any queries so please get in touch using the 'Contact us' button at the top of the page or leave a comment below. Ben Gilbert NWL Project Manager

Project updates

Update by Brian Hall

Work is now completed on site and we will be leaving tomorrow Friday 22nd December. We will be visiting in the new year for a little bit of snagging control but nothing major.

We would like to thank you all for your patience and friendly welcome and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year.

Hello everyone

Work is progressing nicely at the site. As you can see from the photos below the housing for the new screens has been erected and the electrics are being put together before they are fitted. Everything came together well apart from the fact that we were short a couple of steps, you can see we have a very nice temporary fix at the bottom of the steps. Proper metal one will be fitted soon.

Hopefully we have not been too obtrusive, the noisiest part of the job is over and we will finish on time or sooner, thanks everyone for your patience and friendly welcome

Hopefully we will not cause you any inconvenience or annoyance but please let me know if we do.
