Esh Winning STW – Chemical Removal

We are investing £4m to improve the performance of our sewage treatment works at Esh Winning STW. The work will involve the installation of new equipment which will provide additional chemical removal before the final effluent is discharged. This will aid NWL in improving the quality of rivers and coastal waters for the benefit of people, the environment and wildlife.

A little update for you all on Esh Winning Sewage Treatment Works.

The team are currently testing and comissioning the system to make sure that everything is in good working order before the system is up and running.

From 24th February, we will be starting the optomisation and performance of the dosing system until approximately the end of March.
