GENERAL PROJECT

Great Ayton Water Booster Station

Northumbrian Water are planning to carry out work between January 2022 and March 2022 at Great Ayton Water Booster Station (WBS). The project represents a £130,000 investment which will see a mechanical and electrical refurbishment of the WBS.

Afternoon all,

Just a quick update as you may have seen the site has become a lot quieter over the last week.

We have done as much as we can at present, but we are not yet running on the new pumps. We are waiting for a new electricity meter to be fitted. I have chased them again today and when this is installed, we are ready to switch the new booster on and supply your water from it. The plan is still to have the old station available to fall back onto until we are confident the new station is running the way we want it to!
