GENERAL PROJECT

Great Ayton Water Booster Station

Northumbrian Water are planning to carry out work between January 2022 and March 2022 at Great Ayton Water Booster Station (WBS). The project represents a £130,000 investment which will see a mechanical and electrical refurbishment of the WBS.

Update by Simon Cossar

A quick update on progress, the new booster was brought online on Tuesday, thank you to everyone involved. I know we warned residents there may be fluctuations in pressure during this work and I hope we didn't affect the water pressure to much! We will now rely on the new booster for a period of time to get confidence its operation, and once proven we will start to decommission the old booster.

Thank you for your patience during this work as I know we have faced a few obstacles and delays getting to this point,

I hope you have an enjoyable weekend,

Many thank,

Simon.
