Description of Project Our contractors Fastflow will be carrying the construction of a new HPPE water main to replace 1000m of the existing 16" UPVC water main. This will be done using trenchless techniques where possible to minimise disruption.
NWG want to let you know details of essential work we will be carrying out in Greenwood Road to renew and replace 1000 metres of UPVC water mains with new plastic water mains. You may be aware that we have recently experienced bursts in this area and essential work is required to replace this section of pipework.
Our experienced contractors, Fastflow Pipeline Services are carrying out this work on our behalf. This will involve the construction of a new water main along Greenwood Road from the junction of Cowpen Lane to the B1275 roundabout. Work will begin on Monday 9 April 2018 and we expect to complete by Friday 15 June 2018.
