Johnson Street Gateshead - Overflow Screening Northumbrian Water is looking to improve the resilience and enhance the performance of the sewer network in the Gateshead catchment.
WHERE WE WILL BE WORKING AND WHAT IT WILL INVOLVE
To ensure that our sewer network continues to serve the community effectively we are investigating an option which will see the construction of new chambers and sewer pipelines within the Derwentwater Road Playing fields and Johnson Street. These works are currently planned to commence in the Autumn of 2019 with an anticipated completion in the late summer of 2021.
We will be writing to customers asking them for their views on our proposals, and how we can minimise any impact. Copies of these letters will be posted opposite.
