Together with our supply partners Interserve we plan to carry out essential ground works maintenance, investigation and improvements to Lockwood Beck reservoir, starting on site on the 24th August and lasting for around 16 weeks. For the safety of all visitors, site users and those working on the project, the decision has been made to close the site for the duration of the work. I would like to thank adjacent residents and visitors for their patience while we undertake this essential work.
Hello everyone. First of all a quick update on the good work the site team has completed in the previous two weeks. We have made good headway on a lot of the preliminary works. We have started operations around the spillway and cope. We have agreed access routes to the works areas with the Northumbrian Water and the local authorities. We have set up control measures that will ensure site compliance with the government Covid-19 guidance.
