Hello everyone. I want to let you know that Interserve has started works at the Marden Quarry station after the Christmas and New Year break. We will carry out the works without affecting the public in this very popular area in North Tyneside.

We have set up traffic management signs on the access road to advice drivers to slow down and watch out for pedestrians.

We are setting up the site compound inside the Northumbrian Water site.

Our teams on site started works in the autumn of last year and a lot of the preliminary works are already complete.

We will carry out works ensuring we protect the local environment and the wildlife in the lake.

Hello. I would like to tell you that Interserve will be starting works at the Marden Quarry pumping station shortly. We have completed some preliminary works and now we are ready to start the main works.

We will start setting up the compound next week.

We will complete the arboricultural works in December 2020 

We have started the electrical works. We stripped out some of the existing electrical equipment earlier.

We will be starting the HVAC works in the next couple of works. The mechanical works will start in January 2021

Hello. Interserve has started works at the Marden Quarry pumping station.

This project location is next to the Marden Quarry park. We will make sure we do not disturb our neighbours and the people who visit tihs park.

The site access is along this popular road. Our coumpound will be inside the existing Northumbrian Water perimeter fenceline.

The works are in the main building. These works have started.

The works at Marden Quarry pumping station have started. We have started on the electrical upgrade.

The pumping station is set in the lovely Marden Quarry Nature Reserve near Cullercoats, North Tyneside.

The works area is within the Northumbrian Water compound. The public will still be able to enjoy the nature reserve as the works progress. 

This is the northern area of the site. We are working inside the building on the services renovation. 

The site team have set up the Interserve covid management protocols on site.

We have agreed the scope and programme of works with Northumbrian Water. I would like to let you know that we have started the physical works at this pumping station. 

The Marden Quarry pumping station works are predominently mechanical and electrical in nature. The works area is contained within the Northumbrian Water compound.

We have started renewing the building services; lights, heating and water. We have installed a new distrubution board and started placing the traywork. 

The site team have prioritised keeping disruption to an absolute minimum. This area is very popular with people walking around the lake. We have a shared access with some of our neighbours, a nearby business and the local scouts. We have posted letters to our neighbours and advised them of these works.

This area is very popular with people taking a walk in the park and with people walking thier dogs. We will not disrupt any access to the lake, woods and walkways.

This project is located in a really pleasant area just behind the Broadway in Cullercoats. Interserve will be carrying out the works at this station.
